About Us: Q Foundation, Inc (QFI) was founded in 2000 by World-Class Motivational Speaker, Award-Winning Author & Philanthropist Stephán “Coach Q” Askew. For over a decade, QFI has been widely recognized as the nation’s leader in alternative Education and Employment Training by the workforce development industry. Specializing in providing second chance opportunities to dropouts and offenders. While this is our signature service, we pride ourselves on providing an array of services to bring not only individuals, but the entire family to self-sufficiency. We do this by utilizing our Award-Winning format entitled Core 4. Core 4 to success focuses on the areas of: Education, Employment, Athletics and Behavioral Health Services. We believe by utilizing this philosophy, we address head on the issues that plague communities and assist in breaking down barriers to success. • We have NO 6 month waiting period for our GED Programs.
• We are an evidence & performance-based agency.
• We are recognized as a SNAP Site (Share Network Access Point) and provide assistance is applying for the following benefits to our consumers : Medicaid, Food Stamps, FAFSA, Selected Service, Taxes & Loaves & Fishes Food Bank.

Events:

We are currently planning our 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, scheduled for May 2012. Thank you for all the support you’ve shown over the last decade. Your support allows us to continue making a difference. This years tournament will be held in Charlotte North Carolina. Please revisit for more information.

Education:

We are currently registering for our next G.E.D & Employment Program orientation for ages 16-21 years of age. This is for the Charlotte market only. Please contact us for more information.

We are also taking new enrollment for our Online G.E.D Program. This program is for ages 16 & Up.

Athletics:

We are currently registering for youth baseball ages 10 & under. Spots are limited.
